Deep Cliff #16 The Elements of a Story
Question: How Do You Write A Story?
Hello, and welcome to yet another Deep Cliff, where I listen to your questions, and bring you in depth answers. Back before I made this series, Mika and I released a Q&A panel where you all asked us personal questions and we gave short and fun answers to them. Now I do accept personal questions on Deep Cliff, and one of the questions asked was one that I really did want to go into more detail on. The question directed at me was about the tips I would give to other writers. Well, to expand on this, I feel it necessary to explain how I write a story. Now keep in mind that all writers have different methods and different formulas to their style, but a lot of people have asked me questions since about my writing style. I’ve been asked questions like “Where do you get inspiration?” “Do you talk to your characters?” “Where did you come up with this?” So I figured that I’d go ahead and answer these ques
An Angel With a TailMy child lives with a death sentence. When she was just a baby, the doctors diagnosed her with cystic fibrosis. it was an e l e c t r i f y i n g first kiss where
you entwined your hands in my hair.
your mouth encompassed mine and
my breath became lost in the steady
of your chest.
it was a s h y first kiss where
i pulled away before you could explore.
your tongue grazed my teeth,
searching for a way past the ivory gates.
i dug my finger into the stubble along your jaw,
my nail lulling your carnal desires.
it was my first kiss with you.
