Espio - Guardians of Light

LOL GUARDIANS OF LIGHT. Part of the whole FORCES OF DARKNESS thing.

Ohmigawd. Omigawd omigawd omigawd. GoL Espio. Even though he's one of the most awesome characters, I always hated drawing him. I always utterly failed with his details and whatnot. xD Umm... GoL Espio is... uhhh, the second in command of the Guardians of Light, second to GoL Knuckles.

All I really wanna point out is why his horn is... covered in black. LOOK'S LIKE I'VE GOT SOME EXPLAINING TO DO. D:

Well, back when the Forces were still relatively small and were running around, destroying everything that moved, the Chaotix got ambushed by these numbminded dark slaves. D: Although they were able to put up a fight, Vector and Charmy weren't "gonna make it," so in the midst of chaos, Vector ordered Espio to escape and save himself. Although he hesistated, Espio did as he was told said, but didn't get very far... Because, well, they're the Chaotix. They're friends and shiz. HE COULDN'T JUST LEAVE THEM. D: So of course, he turns back, leaping into action in attempt to save them, with Mighty the Armadillo *conviently* showing up to help 'em fight those guys off.

So.. yeah. 'Cause of the whole "Argh I can't believe I abandoned my friends and almost let them die" thing, he painted the upper part of his horn black to kinda remind him of that and that he'll never do it again.

...Or something like that. It's 11 at night, this picture is from last week, I'm tired.
