So, Sunday I went to the Video Games Live concert in NYC, lol. Was pretty awesome. That guy from what one video where he played the Mario theme blindfolded was there, as well as some other chick who has some video on youtube. I dunno what video she had, but she came into the concert dressed as Link and played this awesome wind instrument and it was awesome askdfhkjs

We almost didn't make it to the concert too, haha... Someone thought it was a great idea to put a traffic light at the end of a highway.

I can only remember a few lines from the show, but what I do remember:
"Get this! Some people think that video games are just for children!"
"BOOOOOOOOOO"
"And some people think that video game music is composed of nothing more than simplistic bleeps!"
"BOOOOOOOOOO"
"Some people even think that video games are the cause of violence!"
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

And then of course, one guy in the audience shouts out "KILL THOSE PEOPLE!" and everyone lol'd

They didn't play any Sonic medleys, but they did a Megaman one. Title screen for 2 and 3 and then MM2 Dr. Wily Stage 1. <3 Awesome video, they used, too.

Also during the intermission, I went to the bathroom then came back to see the screen playing a video called "My childhood in 4 minutes," and I screamed and hugged my brother when it showed a split second of Strider. xD Made me happy.

So we bought shirts and the first soundtrack. Also had a few Mario cosplayers, two cute kids dressed as Tails and Amy, I saw a Zero Suit Samus and a Cloud and a Sepiroth and an Axel and lol yeah. Makes me wish I wore a Sonic shirt or my Street Fighter IV shirt. >/

But yeah it was awesome.
